Chantal Nchako

Chantal is an actress from Douala, Cameroun. She studied Shakespeare at the British American Drama Academy at Oxford University with the great John Barton. She earned a B.F.A at Howard University and an M.F.A at the University of Southern California School of Dramatic Arts (U.S.C). At U.S.C, she was the first recipient of the dramatic arts fully endowed scholarship, the Robert Plumleigh three-year scholarship.

She will be a guest speaker in the speaker series “Film and Theatre Industry Access for Diaspora Dreamers” in Washington, DC. She teaches master classes at Silva Arte e Danza, a musical theatre academy in Siracusa, Italy. Chantal will be guest-starring in the new TV series, “Diarra from Detroit” (BET+), and co-starring opposite Eddie Murphy in the upcoming film, Beverly Hills Cop 4 (Netflix). She is writing her first play in collaboration with the New Federal Theatre playwriting program.
