The Claim Your Domain Name Fund
Art Department Concentrations
About The Fund
The Claim Your Name Domain Fund is exclusively available for Art Department majors and minors in the Howard University Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts. The fund is designed to assist students in securing a domain name that reflects their personal identity. This initiative ensures that students establish a strong, professional online presence by securing their legal name as a domain.
Objective
To empower Fine Arts students to establish their personal brand and professional presence online, while alleviating potential financial barriers to securing their first domain name.
Why Secure Your Legal Name?
As an artist or creative professional, you are your own brand. While your company or business name might change, your legal name will always hold significance in building your reputation and establishing your identity in the industry.
Notes:
- This fund covers only the cost of registering the domain for the first year. It does not cover hosting fees or additional website-related expenses.
- Funds are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to applicants who fully complete their application. While you may apply multiple times if funds run out, you can only receive funding once.
